This role is crucial in delivering member-centered infusion care while upholding clinical excellence and safety standards in our innovative healthcare model.POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform comprehensive health assessments and deliver safe infusion treatments according to prescribed protocolsCommunicate thoroughly and effectively with patients, family, caregivers to ensure comfort and safety with their care.Manage infusion reactions and provide thorough patient education about treatments and disease statesCoordinate care between patients, prescribers, and internal teams while maintaining detailed electronic documentationCollaborate with Clinicians, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Pharmacist as needed to optimize patient care and treatment plansDemonstrate expertise in peripheral line placement and port accessMonitor and interpret vital signs while ensuring patient safety and comfortMaintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocolsDemonstrate proficiency with technology and information managementDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Current RN license requiredBSN preferred but not requiredCRNI preferred but not requiredMinimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2 - 3 years in infusion therapyCritical care experience preferredCurrent BLS certificationStrong technical competency with electronic medical records and Microsoft OfficeExcellence in patient communication and educationDemonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize effectivelyWorks well in a team environmentPhysical ability to perform required duties including lifting and repetitive motionsWHAT WE OFFER:Opportunity to shape innovative infusion care delivery in Austin's healthcare landscapeCollaborative and dynamic work environmentAn organization made of people who are passionate about disrupting healthcareCompetitive salary and benefits packageProfessional development and growth opportunitiesA transparent and unique cultureHarbor Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
