Position Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Audio-Visual Intern for a summer internship opportunity supporting the day-to-day audiovisual needs of our corporate environment. This role offers hands-on experience with AV equipment, meeting and event support, and user assistance in a professional office setting. It is an excellent opportunity for a college student looking to build practical skills, gain real-world work experience, and learn how audiovisual services support business operations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the setup, testing, and operation of audiovisual equipment in conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event areasProvide basic support for room technology, including displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and video conferencing toolsHelp troubleshoot routine AV issues under the guidance of senior team membersSupport internal meetings, presentations, events, and other corporate functionsAssist executives and other internal stakeholders with the production of audio and video podcasts in the company's production studioPerform pre-meeting and pre-event room checks to ensure technology is functioning properlyAssist with equipment moves, cable management, room resets, and general space readinessHelp maintain inventory of AV equipment, accessories, and suppliesDocument basic support activities and assist with administrative or organizational tasks as neededProvide professional, courteous service to employees, presenters, and meeting hostsFollow company procedures and safety guidelines while working with equipment QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a college or university programSome hands-on experience with AV equipment through coursework, student productions, campus events, theater, media labs, or related activitiesInterest in audiovisual technology and enthusiasm for learning in a corporate environmentBasic familiarity with equipment such as microphones, speakers, displays, projectors, cameras, lighting, or video conferencing platformsStrong communication skills and a customer-service mindsetGood organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively, take direction, and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to lift and move AV equipment within safe handling limits, with or without reasonable accommodationAvailability to work during the summer internship period Relevant Fields of Study Students currently pursuing a degree in recording, theater technology, audio engineering, media production, digital media, communications, information technology, or a related field Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting live events, student productions, presentations, podcasts, or campus AV environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar collaboration platformsBasic understanding of signal flow, cabling, lighting, audio recording, or video setupInterest in pursuing a career in AV, media production, event technology, live sound, workplace technology support, or related fields Work EnvironmentPrimarily an in-house, on-site role within a corporate office environmentRegular interaction with employees, presenters, executives, and internal stakeholdersWork may take place in conference rooms, meeting spaces, event areas, and a production studioOpportunity to gain exposure to professional standards, service expectations, and workplace technologies used in a corporate setting We are an E-Verify employer - all hired positions require successfully passing an E-Verify Check.
