You'll hone your ability to triage and assess critical needs – with a team to back you with support - lean on our community to shift in schedule or role.Willingness to care for sick and injured patients who arrive on an emergency basis, along with managing hospitalized patientsAssess, diagnose, and develop treatment plansOversee technicians who are carrying out plansPerform surgeries, provide critical care, and ensure a high level of service for all patientsAbout the HospitalCentral Maui Animal Clinic is an emergency-focused hospital located in the Maui area, focusing on emergency medicine and urgent patient care for pets in need. Our hospital has a close-knit, highly supportive work environment and a community-based client base. We are open overnight and on emergency hours to support our community's needs, serving Maui and the surrounding communities.Experience & Skills RequirementsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.State Veterinary Board License:Active and in good standing for the state of intended employmentObtained prior to start dateActive DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.Experience in emergency medicine, including work experience, small animal rotating or emergency internships.Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL model. Full-time range starting at $180,000-$250,000/year, with a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 and up to $30,000 relocation allowance.
