This role plays an important part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by assisting therapists with treatment preparation, maintaining a safe therapy environment, and supporting daily operations. Duties include but are not limited to: transferring patients, helping patients to and from different locations for programming, light clerical tasks, other duties/projects as assigned, and infection control cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment. The Therapy Aide/Therapy Tech provides care under the direction of a therapist, this position exists to assist patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities. Prepares and maintains equipment and physical environment for daily activities. Employees in this position will: Assist therapists with patient preparation and treatment setup Safely transports patients to and from therapy sessions and groups Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy gym and equipment Clean and sanitize equipment according to infection control standards Monitor therapy areas for safety and report concerns promptly Assist with clerical tasks, supply management, and documentation support as needed Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies Support scheduling coordination and daily workflow needs Distributes equipment to new patients according to patient specifications Ensures maintenance of cleaning logs and temperature logs Participates in facility specific core program meetings and demonstrates understanding of patient satisfaction outcome data Perform other duties as requested Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. One or more years of healthcare experience as a rehab aide preferred.
