Engineering Test Technician

Position DescriptionThe Engineering Test Technician executes functional and performance tests on components, systems, and finished products for a diverse customer base. This role involves collecting, recording, analyzing and reporting test data and results to support product quality and reliability.Major ResponsibilitiesConduct functional, performance and quality control tests on components, systems, and finished products.Build, install, calibrate and repair test equipment, instruments and test setups.Collect, record, analyze, and report test data and results, identifying defects or areas for improvement.Develop and maintain test procedures, protocols, and detailed records. Work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement test protocols and meet product requirements.Diagnose technical problems, solve routine issues and suggest repairs or upgrades.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAssociates degree or six or more years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and advanced troubleshooting techniques.Proficiency with test instruments, data collection, and analysis tools.Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and specifications.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow structured procedures and work safely with potentially hazardous equipment (e.g., high voltage, etc.).Preferred Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience with RF measurements. Experience with designing and maintaining printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
