Customer Service Representative
Job descriptionOverview:Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative and become the friendly, efficient voice that helps our clients and visitors feel valued and supported. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, responsible for taking all customer calls, answering questions, assisting with concerns, and providing customers with updates. The representative will also receive, review and process orders to be dispatched. This position will report directly to the company's Customer Service Manager and offers a fantastic opportunity in a lively, team-oriented environment.Duties:Consistently answer inbound calls within guidelines established by the companyEnter and process customer orders with detailed notes from phone and/or email inquiriesTransfer calls to the correct parties while notating the details of inquiries or questionsResolve customer complaints and inquiries through resolution management discretion, including offering customer concessions or other remedies as are determined necessary by the CSRRegularly screen emails from customersUpdate OTR board anything over 100 milesRecord customer turndownsNegotiate quotes with customers based on value driven philosophy of the companyDevelop and maintain customer care relationships, including problem solving for positive outcomesEvaluate and solve driver issues involving customers or customer delivery schedules to ensure our drivers' safety and retentionPerform other duties as assignedExperience:Customer service experience of 3+ years is preferredData entry experience of 1-3 years is preferredTransportation industry experience is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteCore Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be able to learn other company software systems (i.e. Datatrac)Great written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a team environment in high pressure situationsMust be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional weekends and holidaysBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
