Home Infusion Nurse - PRN

We are seeking an infusion nurse (RN) with IVIg experience interested in providing in-home infusions for a local patient.Infusion Details:Medication: Infliximab - Infuse 700 mg intravenously once every 6 weeksLength of treatment: 2 Hours + Prep TimeLocation: Elkins, WV 26241Date of Service: 03/12 or 03/14Access: PIV - Not a hard stickPump: GravityPreferences:The patient prefers a morning start timeThe patient has no pets at homeThe patient is not new to treatmentResponsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion Registered NurseDeliver immune globulin infusion therapies directly to the patient in the comfort of their home.Make a meaningful impact by leveraging your clinical IV expertise and compassionate care to support patients within their environment.Provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education aligned with the physician's treatment plan.Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other collaborative partners.Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse:Active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practiceCurrent BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)IVIg experience requiredIn-home infusion experience is generally required.
