In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they operate flawlessly and meet all safety standards. Your expertise will help safeguard lives and property by ensuring fire detection systems are fully functional, compliant, and reliable. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a specific project related to the Federal Government, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to life safety solutions that make a real difference.Job ResponsibilitiesInstall and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devicesInspection of fire alarm and related systemsWorking knowledge of low voltage electrical systemsTroubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctionsMaintain accurate records of service calls and completed workExcellent customer serviceJob RequirementsTo qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 3 or higher requiredThorough knowledge of NFPA 72 requirements and electrical codesAbility to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, EmailStrong customer service skills and communicationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to pass background checkPay is based on combination of experience and level of certificationEST / Notifier certification preferredBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingHSA / HSA MatchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
