School Psychologist - Clifton, NJ

Job Description Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school psychologist position is available for a high school setting in Clifton, NJ. This contract role requires 3 days per week, working 7 hours each day, totaling 21 hours weekly. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 13, 2026.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-beingCollaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plansProvide counseling and crisis intervention services as neededAssist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support compliance with relevant regulationsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-based decision-makingQualifications and Experience:Valid certification or licensure as a School PsychologistExperience working within school settings, preferably at the high school levelStrong assessment, counseling, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage caseload effectivelyKnowledge of educational laws and special education processesLocation: Clifton, New JerseyThis is a contract position offering an excellent opportunity to apply skills in a dynamic high school environment while working a part-time schedule.
