HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this advanced Swiss CNC programming and machining role.Position OverviewThis role is designed for a high-level Swiss machining professional who can independently program, set up, and optimize Star CNC Swiss machines in a production environment requiring tight tolerances and process stability. The selected candidate will take ownership of programming strategy, tooling selection, setup validation, and ongoing machining improvements to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.This is not a general operator role. Candidates must demonstrate advanced Swiss programming capability and the ability to troubleshoot complex multi-axis machining challenges.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and edit CNC programs for Star Swiss-type machinesPerform full machine setups including guide bushing configuration, tooling layout, and offset adjustmentsInterpret detailed blueprints and GD&T requirements to ensure dimensional accuracyValidate first articles and conduct in-process inspectionsOptimize programs to improve cycle times while maintaining quality standardsTroubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, feeds and speeds, surface finish, and tolerancesCreate and maintain setup documentation and standardized process sheetsCollaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve dimensional or process concernsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the machining cellRequired Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for interview:Minimum 5+ years of Swiss CNC programming experienceHands-on experience programming and setting up Star CNC machinesAdvanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiencyDemonstrated ability to independently perform setups, validate programs, and run productionExperience performing in-process inspections using precision measurement toolsStable employment history within machining environmentsCandidates lacking Swiss programming depth or demonstrating frequent job changes will not be considered.Preferred QualificationsPartMaker programming experienceExperience in regulated or high-precision manufacturing environmentsMedical device machining backgroundExperience mentoring junior machinists or assisting in process developmentStrong troubleshooting capability in complex multi-axis machiningWhat Type of Candidate HireNow Staffing Is Recruiting ForHireNow Staffing is seeking a disciplined, technically advanced Swiss machining specialist who:Has long-term tenure in precision machining environmentsDemonstrates mastery of Star Swiss platformsCan independently manage programs, setups, and production validationPossesses strong attention to detail and ownership over part qualityShows proactive problem-solving and process improvement capabilityThis role requires a true Swiss programming expert-not an entry-level machinist or operator.General Information100% Onsite - West Chester, PAInitial training conducted on 1st shiftRegulated, climate-controlled manufacturing environmentOvertime opportunities may be available based on production needsRelocation may be considered for qualified candidatesHireNow Staffing DisclaimerHireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
