Machine Operator 2nd ShiftThis position reports to the Production SupervisorResponsibilitiesOperate or tend plastic molding machine to mold and form thermoplastic materialsObserve continuous operation of automatic machine, and width and alignment of plastic sheeting to ensure side flangesExamine molded product for surface defects, such as dents, bubbles, thin areas, and cracksRemove product from mold or conveyor, and clean and reload moldStack molded parts in boxes or on conveyor for processing or leave parts in mold to coolReport defects in mold to SupervisorTrim flash from finished productFollow directions, as noted on work order travelers and production drawingsFollow verbal instructions from Production Supervisor or Team LeadProcess orders as dictated by the production schedulePerform the job function in a safe mannerMaintain a clean safe, work areaRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plusAbility to understand written and verbal instructions in EnglishAbility to work in a team environment and communicate effectivelyAble to read and understand work instructionsMust possess a strong attention to detailMust be able to tolerate long periods of standingAbility to regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Able to perform basic mathematical computationsGood verbal communication skillsGeneral knowledge of workplace safety, a plusWork Environment ManufacturingChemicals, (See SDS)DustMachineryNoiseProtective Clothing and Equipment May be RequiredCompany DetailsHavis is at the forefront of revolutionizing industries by unlocking the full potential of technology to drive productivity and enhance safety through innovative mobility solutions.
