Lead Electrical Panel Builder

*Lead Electrical Control Panel Builder* Lead the fabrication, assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels, switchgear, and enclosures while mentoring junior builders and maintaining production schedules. Responsible for laying out, fabricating, and assembling large, complex control panels and doors, including component installation and wiring according to schematics. Skills, Education & Experience * Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and AutoCAD/EPLAN drawings. * Assemble and wire control panels. * Work from blueprints, schematics, and bills of materials. * Electrical theory and measurement skills. * Light metal fabrication techniques. * Troubleshoot wiring errors and component failures. * Maintain accurate build documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings. * Manage panel shop workflow to meet production deadlines. Qualifications * Ability to read complex electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams. * Experience with hand tools, crimping/termination tools, and wire labeling systems. * Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control components. * Basic understanding of PLC/HMI wiring; programming knowledge is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset. * Good communication and leadership skills.
