🚀 Hiring: Fund Accounting Manager (SBIC / Private Equity) | Fully Remote (U.S.)We’re partnering with a growing CPA firm to hire a Fund Accounting Manager supporting SBIC (Small Business Investment Company) funds.This is a high-impact, fully remote role focused on fund accounting, controllership, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting.🎯 The RoleThis position sits at the intersection of fund accounting + controllership + SBIC compliance.You’ll be responsible for:Leading fund accounting and controllership services for investment fundsPreparing & reviewing SBIC regulatory filings (Forms 468 & 1031)Overseeing trial balances, journal entries, and fund-level financialsManaging financial reporting and disclosure preparationEnsuring compliance with SBA regulations and reporting deadlines📊 You’ll play a key role in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity across SBIC fund operations.🔍 What We’re Looking For5–8+ years in private equity / fund accountingStrong experience in:Financial reportingControllership / review responsibilitiesExposure to SBIC funds highly preferred (or regulated funds like BDCs)Hands-on accounting + ability to review/oversee workFund accounting + tax experience = highly desirableCPA is a plus (not required)🚨 Must be:U.S. citizen or legal residentBased in the United States💰 Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary starts at $125k+ (flexible for the right candidate)Performance-based bonus401(k) + 3% matchMedical, dental & vision4–5 weeks PTO (5 weeks at Manager level)10 paid holidays🕒 Work EnvironmentFully remote40-hour standard weekBusy season up to ~60 hours (max)Flexibility supported for the right candidate⚡ Hiring Process24-hour CV feedbackTypically 2 interviews (occasionally 3)All interviews via Microsoft Teams💬 If you're a Fund Accounting professional with strong reporting and controllership experience, looking to step into a Manager-level role with SBIC exposure, let’s connect.📩 Apply or message me directly
