Production Assembler - 1st shift
The Orahh Assembler is responsible for assembling molded core furniture products while maintaining established production rates and quality standards. This role manages product flow through the Orahh cell to support order accuracy and on-time delivery and ensures that all finished products meet requirements for cleanliness, labeling, packaging, and customer satisfaction.POSITION DETAILSShift Times: 7:00am - 3:30pm M-FPay Schedule: WeeklyStart Rate: $17.00This is a full-time 90 day seasonal position with the opportunity to be regular full-time depending on performance & business needs. Here's What You'll DoDemonstrate the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks, and interactions with others.Assemble molded core furniture products according to the bill of materials and defined specifications.Manage product flow through the Orahh cell to support order accuracy and on-time delivery.Maintain production rates while ensuring all products are free from foreign objects (metal, plastic, trash, foam chunks, zipper pulls).Ensure final product quality, including box appearance, labeling, and packaging consistency, to deliver a positive customer experience.Perform required quality checks and use measurement tools such as weight scales to verify accuracy.Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe work environment.Communicate machine runs, production hours, and quality concerns to plant leadership.Coordinate with production, maintenance, and leadership team members to resolve issues quickly.Share information on non-conforming products and help ensure corrective actions are followed.Assist teammates by rotating through tasks and cross-training in other functions as needed.Support the Production team in shared goals & initiatives.HAVE FUN!Other duties as assigned by leadership.Our Awesome BenefitsHere at Comfort Research, we believe that the health and well-being of our Ambassadors and their families is critical to their success in the workplace. At Comfort Research, the pace is fast, the work is anything but boring, and the result is always more Comfort for All.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.1 year of experience or training in basic math, reading comprehension, visual inspections, and mechanical functions.2-5 years of manufacturing/assembly experience, or a combination of experience within Comfort Research and/or externally.Strong verbal communication skills.Good vision and color perception.Ability to read and understand job aids and instructional materials printed in English.Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
