HCLTech is looking to hire Sr. Electrical/ Electronic Engineer with experience in High-Speed electrical design for our ongoing project engagements. This position requires the selected candidates to work from Webster NY with no provision for remote/ hybrid working options. Job Description: Key Skills and Competencies required: Experience in areas of PCB design, Integration and Product development, Firmware development a plus, Design and test to meet EMC standards. Ability to apply basic problem solving to complex problems. Ability to learn new lab instrumentation and document its operation. Participate/ lead the planning and execution of lab experimentation. Perform statistical analysis of lab data and demonstrate correlation with theoretical calculations. Must be a team player, be responsive, have initiative, have strong communication skills and good MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint skills. Good understanding of circuitry/electronics, Microprocessors, ARM microcontrollers and FPGA’s, DDR memory systems, Ethernet, USB. Familiarity with board simulation tools, Hyperlynx (SI & PI). Spice simulation / modelling skills a plus. Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, measurement, etc., of electrical assemblies. Design electronic circuits for printing systems ranging from simple to complex. Work with engineering staff to develop and validate critical parameters and specifications for digital printing systems. Assist in the development of electronic test methods and fixturing for critical parameter optimization and validation. Establish electronic drawing specifications and negotiate performance and manufacturability with vendors. The candidate will be working with a H/W engineering team to design, develop and debug microprocessor based high speed board designs, Do Power and IO, Timing Analysis. SI & PI Simulations The candidate will be responsible for tool life cycle management and general maintenance/upgrades to support new features and/or H/W changes.
