Pipefitter - Lead

Summary:Assembles and installs pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for hydraulic, pneumatic, lube and coolant systems by performing the following duties.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLeading crews of 10+ and ordering materialsCuts, threads, and bends pipe.Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.Connects pipes, using threaded, soldered, and brazed joints.Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers.Installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.Pressure check system and observes connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks.Welds pipe supports to structural steel members.Observes production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions.Provide cost to complete estimates bi-weekly.Log rework at the time of the rework.Participate in "Go fast and Kaizen events.Keep work areas clean and safe.Other duties and projects may be assigned.We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
