Business Analyst - Wealth Management
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Wealth Management to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring effective delivery of solutions aligned with wealth management processes, regulatory requirements, and client needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for wealth management platforms and initiativesTranslate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flowsWork closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirementsAnalyze existing systems and processes; identify gaps and recommend improvementsSupport data analysis related to portfolios, client reporting, and financial productsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards such as SEC, FINRA, and other financial governance frameworksFacilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessionsCreate and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and process mapsMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management or Financial ServicesStrong understanding of wealth management concepts such as portfolio management, asset allocation, investment products, and client onboardingExperience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, or similarExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with wealth platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin, or similarKnowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and digital transformation projectsCertifications such as CBAP, CFA (preferred but not mandatory)Key SkillsRequirement Gathering & AnalysisStakeholder ManagementFinancial Domain Expertise (Wealth Management)Data Analysis & ReportingProcess ImprovementAgile MethodologiesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth and learning opportunitiesAbout the RoleThis role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic wealth management environment
