Assessment Developer

About the Role: HurixDigital is seeking an experienced Assessment Developer to support one of our leading U.S.-based clients. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in assessment development, item writing, and curriculum design who are passionate about creating high-quality learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality assessment items and scoring rubrics. Create original assessment content for K-12 and higher education courses. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Designers, and cross-functional teams. Review assessment items to ensure alignment with learning objectives and quality standards. Participate in project meetings, workshops, and review sessions. Build assessment blueprints and related documentation. Work with assessment authoring platforms and digital learning tools. Provide constructive feedback and maintain project quality throughout the development lifecycle. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Master's preferred). Minimum 3 years of assessment design and development experience. Experience with original item writing and rubric development. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Experience using AI tools, particularly ChatGPT (GPT-4), in content development workflows is highly desirable.
