Purpose: In collaboration with supervising physicians, provides for the expansion of individualized healthcare services by diagnosing and treating pediatric and congenital heart conditions. Responsibilities: Counsels and educates cardiac critical care patients and their families/ caregivers concerning health conditions, treatment options and community resources. Documents delivery of cardiac critical health care and nursing processes in accordance with care standards and network nursing policy.
