In this role, you will support highly classified Space Force programs focusing on the testing and evaluation of complex systems, products, and specialized devices in a defense and aerospace environment. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and improving test strategies to ensure system performance, reliability, and mission readiness. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience.Location: Scottsdale, AZPosition: Space Force Test EngineerContract: 12 - 24 months with possibility of going directPay: $86.63/hourCLEARANCE: Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hireIn this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:Plan and execute test strategies for new systems, products, and specialized devicesDevelop test and diagnostic programs, procedures, and technical specificationsDesign and implement test fixtures, tools, and supporting equipmentSupport system integration, verification, validation, and qualification testingAnalyze test results, identify issues, and recommend corrective actionsCollaborate with engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant test engineering experience; ORMaster's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experienceClearance Requirements:Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hireApplicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is requiredKnowledge Skills And Abilities:Expert knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and best practicesStrong experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languagesProven ability to develop test methods that improve efficiency, quality, and reliabilityAbility to contribute to the development of new technical approaches and methodologiesWillingness to anticipate technical and business needs and shape future opportunitiesRecognized as a subject matter expert across multiple technical areasOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsComfortable interacting with managers, cross-functional teams, customers, and vendorsTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skillsAbility to rapidly learn and apply new technical informationComfortable handling increasing responsibility and technical complexityStrong commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentAbout our client:Our client is a mission critical DOD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
