This is a full-time, on-site, key role in driving the branch's overall future success. The ideal candidate is hands-on, goal-oriented, and ready to take ownership of branch performance. This position also includes warehouse responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionally and accurately assist customers with part inquiries in person, over the phone, and via emailBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and equipment dealers to foster loyalty and drive repeat salesLook up parts, check inventory availability, and recommend appropriate productsPrepare accurate quotes, process sales orders from start to finish, and follow up to ensure an exceptional customer experienceIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve or exceed revenue targetsPick, ship, receive, label, and organize inventory efficientlyLoad/unload shipments, process vendor invoices, and maintain accurate recordsOperate a forklift to load/unload trucks (training provided if needed)Learn and operate a track press (training provided)Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment that reflects company standardsPerform other responsibilities as assigned by the General ManagerQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma required; college coursework a plus3–5 years of experience in sales, ideally in parts distribution, undercarriage, or heavy equipmentStrong mechanical knowledgeProven relationship-building skills and a customer-focused mindsetHands-on, results-driven approach with strong communication, organizational, and decision-making abilitiesComputer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeComfortable using the internet to source technical information and verify part numbersAbility to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. with assistance, following safe handling practicesWillingness to work in a warehouse and occasional outdoor environments; noise levels consistent with standard business operationsTeam playerBenefits401(k) with company matchComprehensive health insurancePaid time off and holidaysTraining and professional development opportunitiesSupportive, team-oriented work environmentAnd moreAdditional InformationSome travel may be required for customer visitsThis is a full-time, on-site position in Cedar Lake, IN
