Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionJob Title: Audiology TechnicianReport to: Operations ManagerLocation: Minneapolis, MNWork schedule: Full-Time, Wednesday – Saturday 7:30am to 6:00pmFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition SummaryAldevra is currently seeking an Audiology Technician to assist Audiologist in the performance of audiologic evaluations and the fitting of hearing aids. Provide direct patient support for walk-in and telephone hearing aid problems. The ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist Audiologist in Audiological EvaluationsTaking accurate ear mold impressionsPreparing the mold for shippingTracking hearing aid orders and communicating with vendorsMonitoring suppliesRoutine repairs of hearing aidsClean and maintain audiologic equipment in accordance with OSHA standardsProvide chart review as neededInstruct clients in the proper maintenance, cleaning and use of hearing aids and/or assisted listening devices (ALD)Communicating and documenting patient education and reports in the medical recordCerumen ManagementMay routinely be required to do a variety of previously unforeseen tasks in order to assist with the smooth function of the Audiology clinicAbout UsAldevra was founded in 2009 by current President & CEO Rodney Marshall, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and minority entrepreneur.
