Job Title : Python Developer with AWS Location : North Chicago, IL (ONSITE) Contract Job Description We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong AWS expertise and experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data-driven applications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications using PythonBuild and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS servicesDevelop data pipelines, ETL processes, and APIs for large-scale data processingWork with structured and unstructured healthcare/pharma datasetsEnsure compliance with industry standards such as GxP, HIPAA, and FDA regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business stakeholdersOptimize application performance, scalability, and securityImplement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Flask/Django)Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDSSolid understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge of REST APIs and microservices architectureFamiliarity with version control tools (Git)Understanding of Docker / Kubernetes (preferred) Pharma Domain RequirementsPrior experience in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences domainKnowledge of clinical trials, drug development lifecycle, or regulatory processesFamiliarity with compliance standards like GxP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11 Good to HaveExperience with Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop)Exposure to Machine Learning / AI workflowsKnowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)Experience with Azure or GCP (multi-cloud exposure)
