We are seeking an experienced and proactive Workers’ Compensation Account Manager to join our team.Position SummaryThe Workers’ Comp. Acct. Mgr. plays a key role in all aspects of account management of workers’ compensation medical claims from our medical provider clients to make sure that our client’s bills are included and paid correctly. This position requires accurate and timely documentation, excellent communication skills and seamless service delivery between the provider, patients, attorneys and all work comp carriers.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a main point of contact for all workers’ compensation-related accountsCommunicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, employers and patients to obtain billing updates and ensure that all billing requirements are communicated and metAssure all required documentation (work status reports, medical records, billing information) is accurate and delivered promptlyTrack work comp cases and assist with resolution and payment of accountsMaintain and update internal systems with case information and communicationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree and preferred2+ years experience in a medical office or workers’ compensation setting requiredKnowledge of state workers’ compensation laws, terminology, and processesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage numerous accounts simultaneouslyFamiliarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation and codingBilingual (English/Spanish) a plusABA paralegal certification a plusCompany DescriptionAt Powers & Moon, LLC, we are dedicated to providing high-quality services to our health care provider clients to resolve medical claims relating to workers’ injuries.
