Controller To Oversee Accounting, Mortgage Banking, CPA Preferred

Job Description Contingent Assets is looking for an Accounting Controller! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records and overseeing the month end close. This role needs someone who has experience in mortgage banking accounting and can take over all the daily accounting task. You will work directly with leadership to help plan and provide financial oversight.Responsibilities:* Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports * Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets * Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements * Create new processes to improve financial efficiency * Report analysis and findings to management teamQualifications:* CPA Preferred * Mortgage Banking Experience * Expert in QuickBooks * Experience in payment processing a plus * Previous experience in accounting and finance oversee all accounting functions * Fundamental knowledge of GAAP * Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools * Detail and deadline-oriented * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Must be able to work in office dailySalary: $100K -$120K Company Description Contingent Assets is a recruiting firm that helps employers and job seekers connect with their next team.
