Business Systems Lead (ERP / NetSuite) – Hands-OnAustin, TX (On-site)If you’ve worked in NetSuite within a manufacturing environment and thought “this system should be doing a lot more than it is”… this role is worth a look. This is not a management-only role. This is a hands-on build role.We are working with a growing manufacturing organization that has NetSuite in place but needs someone who can step in and make it truly function across the business. This role is focused on execution, not theory. You will be expected to work directly in the system, build workflows, and connect operations to technology in a meaningful way.If your background is primarily managing teams or vendors without direct system ownership, this will not be the right fit.Overview• Own and drive the evolution of ERP (NetSuite) across the business• Act as the hands-on system leader responsible for configuration, workflows, and execution• Partner directly with operations, supply chain, and finance to translate real-world processes into system-driven solutions• Eliminate manual processes and bring structure into a growing environmentWhat You’ll OwnHands-On ERP Ownership• Directly configure and manage ERP (NetSuite) across core modules• Build and refine workflows, scripts, and system logic• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them within the system• Serve as the internal expert and go-to resource for NetSuiteOperational System Design• Translate real-world processes into system-based workflows• Work closely with operations to align ERP with how the business actually runs• Drive system adoption by ensuring usability and accuracySupply Chain & Manufacturing Alignment• Support MRP, inventory, BOMs, and work orders within ERP (NetSuite)• Ensure system structure supports production, planning, and fulfillment• Align operational execution with system designSystem Integrations• Evaluate and integrate supporting systems such as WMS, MES, and forecasting tools• Ensure clean data flow across systems• Reduce reliance on manual workarounds and spreadsheetsData Governance & Accuracy• Own master data including items, BOMs, and inventory structures• Establish standards and processes to maintain data accuracy• Ensure data supports both operations and financial reportingVisibility & Reporting• Build dashboards and reporting that drive decision making• Provide real-time visibility into operations and performanceChange Management• Drive adoption across departments• Train users and ensure consistent system usage• Hold teams accountable to system-driven processesWhat This Role Requires• Strong hands-on experience with ERP (NetSuite) configuration and implementation• Background in manufacturing or operations-driven environments• Experience working with supply chain processes including inventory, BOMs, MRP, and planning• Ability to translate business processes into system design• Comfortable operating in an evolving, fast-paced environment• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independentlyWhat Success Looks Like• NetSuite becomes the trusted system of record across the business• Manual processes are significantly reduced• Operations and supply chain workflows are system-driven• Data is accurate, structured, and usable• Teams rely on the system rather than working around itBackground We’re Targeting• 5–10+ years of experience in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite• Proven track record of hands-on system configuration and process improvement• Experience in small to mid-sized companies where ownership is required• Exposure to tools around NetSuite such as RF-Smart, planning tools, or similar is a plusBottom LineThis role is for someone who builds.
