Materials Handler
The Material Handler and Expeditor performs all the necessary duties and activities which will facilitate the movement, storage, and delivery of all materials between company facilities as well as local vendors, suppliers, and customers. Regular activities include receiving, storing, maintaining inventory of finished products that enable achievement of customer delivery requirements.
Shift: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm
Responsibilities
Receives inventory and non-inventory items in accordance with purchase order receiving report system.
Stores raw material items as to maximize warehouse efficiencies.
Prepares finished goods for shipment.
Properly identifies raw materials for storage.
Operates forklift, company truck, and all other equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
Assists in disposal of trash.
Assists in preparation of finished products for shipment.
Prevents defects and possible defects in workmanship.
Assists in relabel, repackage, and reprocess procedures.
Assures warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Delivers production materials to and from various locations to insure maximum operator uptime.
Delivers non-inventory items to appropriate areas.
Prepare records required to maintain inventory accuracy.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
The person in this position will frequently move about inside and outside the building to access other offices, meeting rooms, warehouse and manufacturing areas. The person in this position frequently communicates with vendors, and co-workers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Work Environment
Generally works in a warehouse environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties in a typical office setting. Normal manufacturing conditions requiring safety observation at all times.

Qualifications
Mathematical aptitude
Valid driver’s license
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds with material handling equipment
Good verbal communication
Ability to utilize required MAPICS programs and bar code scanners
Ability to utilize UPS, RPS, Federal Express and similar computer systems
