MOC Technician
The MOC level employee is an employee that has at least 1 year of experience and has significant knowledge of the monitoring and MOC work associated with the facility. This employee must be clean shaven and hold safety as a top priority. Each tech level employee will be trained to complete the following work types:
Adding and removing regulated components to/from the LDAR program through MOC and/or identifying components that may have missed the MOC process
Performing equipment repairs on analyzers and handhelds with and without guidance from the home office equipment repair staff
Trained to be a Think Environmental mentor and provide training for new employees
Key Responsibilities
Perform leak detection per EPA Method 21
Make first attempts to repair leaking components
Work with plant operations and maintenance to ensure successful leak repairs
Perform other daily routine tasks as required
P&ID markup
Tagging
Documenting new components into the handheld
Completing tag changes
Basic Qualifications
1 year of experience
Industrial/plant experience required
TWIC Card preferred
Good verbal and written communications skills
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold, inclement weather)
Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to work at heights of 100 feet
Ability to work overtime as required
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical
