Church Organist/Choir Director

University Baptist Church is seeking a part-time church organist/choir director to fill a staff position at our historic church across from the Johns Hopkins University campus. The choir performs a variety of music during the service, ranging from the classical repertoire (including excerpts from masses and requiems sung in Latin), spirituals, and contemporary anthems. Who We Are — University Baptist ChurchResponsibilitiesProvide music for one service every Sunday morning 9:15am-10:30am, including prelude, postlude, anthems, hymnsDirect choir (paid octet and volunteers) during the service and rehearsal (Sunday following the service, from 10:30-11:30am)Provide music for extra services, including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Good FridayPlan and direct Christmas and Lenten choir concerts, as part of regular church serviceBe available for weddings and funerals in the churchOversee the maintenance of the church organ (1967 M. P.
