This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to build a meaningful therapeutical relationship while maintaining a clear communication and teamwork with clinical staff.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a therapist who is eager to learn, grow, and implement a variety of client-center therapeutic modalities that support long-term healing, wellness, and recovery.The successful candidate will demonstrate compassion, adaptability, professionalism, and genuine dedication to improving the lives of patients and families impacted by addiction and mental health disorders.Responsibilities:Provide patient-centered care to patients experiencing addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disordersFacilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessionsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and treatment plansSupport an integrative and holistic treatment approach, including collaboration with yoga therapy, acupuncture, and medication management servicesBuild therapeutic relationships through compassion, empathy, professionalism, and clear communicationPromote recovery-focused care and support positive patient outcomesEnsure confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standard of careSupport patients in developing coping skills, emotional wellness, social skills, and healthy recovery strategies. Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and commitment to quality patient careAdhere to company policies and proceduresMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health fieldActive CA Licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC3+ years:Experience working in mental health, addiction treatment, and/or co-occurring disorders fieldExperience providing individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient or behavioral health settingExperience with patient-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented careExperience with integrative and holistic treatment approach Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in psychology, social work, or related a related behavioral health fieldActive CA Licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC10+ years:Experience working in mental health, addiction treatment, and/or co-occurring disorders fieldExperience providing individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient or behavioral health settingExperience with patient-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented careExperience with integrative and holistic treatment approach About Universal Health ServicesOne of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.
