OverviewThe Program Manager is a senior level leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple healthcare related projects from early planning and design through completion. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to take full ownership of program delivery.The role includes leading capital planning, managing the design process, and acting as the primary representative for the client throughout construction. Success in this position requires close coordination with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to effectively engage with healthcare leadership and end users.Experience / QualificationsBachelor’s degree required in Construction Management or similar10+ years of project/program management experience5+ years of healthcare construction or facilities experienceAbility to pass standard background and screening requirementsWillingness to pursue additional training and developmentCore Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of healthcare design and construction processesAbility to develop accurate project scopes, budgets, and schedulesExperience leading projects from feasibility through occupancyProven ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactivelySkilled in contract negotiation and consultant/vendor managementUnderstanding of construction contracts, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capabilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPartner with internal stakeholders to define project scope, capital budgets, and timelinesLead RFP processes and selection of architects, consultants, and vendorsNegotiate and manage contracts, including change orders and invoicingDevelop and manage project schedules and phasing plansOversee project teams to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and quality goalsTrack project financials, including buyout, commitments, and cash flow projectionsSupport procurement and coordination of equipment, furniture, and technologyPrepare regular project reports to keep stakeholders informed throughout all phasesEnsure projects meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
