Janitor and Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of the facilities, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for staff and visitors. Duties - Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors - Assist with porter duties as needed - Support facility maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues -Communicate effectively with team members and managers -The ability to work with a crew or solo for an extended time Skills - Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services - Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and techniques - Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.25 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement Paid training Physical Setting: Office Warehouse Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Time management: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Blue Ash, OH (Required) Work Location: In person
