Architectural Code Consultant

*Job Summary* We are a boutique architectural design team seeking an experienced architect or building code professional to perform independent code reviews for our projects on a contract (1099) basis. Our work consists primarily of residential homes, additions, renovations, and small commercial projects. This is not a full-time position and is ideal for a retired architect, former building official, or experienced design professional looking for flexible, supplemental income. *Responsibilities:* * Review permit sets and identify potential code issues before permit submission. * Provide clear, practical feedback and recommendations. *Qualifications:* * Strong knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), and related accessibility and life safety requirements. * Architectural license(active or inactive) or extensive code review experience preferred. * Experience with residential and small commercial projects. * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. *Position Details:* * Independent Contractor (1099) * Flexible schedule * Workload varies based on project volume * Remote work only Work Location: Remote
