Our highly experienced staff, AV experts, and access to delectable catering from our in-house restaurant, Salt + Brine, ensure your event is extraordinary.The Alexandria, a premier event space is seeking a hands-on and service-driven Audio Visual Manager to oversee all audiovisual operations across a life science campus. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of meetings, events, and daily tenant needs through the management of AV systems, event technology, and on-site support.Key Responsibilities:· Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and functionality of all AV systems across meeting rooms, conference spaces, and bar & restaurant spaces· Manage end-to-end AV support for meetings and events, including setup, testing, execution, and breakdown· Provide on-site technical support for videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.)· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and professionally with minimal disruption to guests and tenants· Maintain and manage AV equipment inventory, including microphones, projectors, displays, sound systems, and control panelsQualifications:· Strong working knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, sound systems, and display technology· Proficiency with videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)· Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, or similar) preferredA successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in technology preferrable within a hospitality venue and strong interpersonal skills coupled with exemplary guest service.Our Vision:The Backal Hospitality Group is an ever-evolving collection of venues, event services, and investments, anchored in hospitality and inspired by New York.
