We are searching for a Lead C# .Net Software Engineer with 4+ years of team leadership experience, mid-level expertise with React (preferred) or Angular, and strong modeling/design skills. This role provides technical leadership and strategic direction to multiple Agile development teams, enabling them to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions efficiently. The Lead Software Engineer partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable features while improving team productivity and delivery outcomes. This position balances hands-on engineering expertise with cross-team leadership and release ownership.Worksite Location: Hybrid in Maple Grove, MN; 4 days in the office, 1 day remote each week -OR- Fully Remote for candidates who live over an hour commute from Maple Grove, MNSalary RangeUp to $155K salary + bonusNo work visa sponsorship available; no C2C, thank youBenefits:Three levels of health insurance coverage to choose from for families and individuals20 days of PTO, 13 holidays, 3 days of paid volunteer days offAnnual bonus6% 401k matchRoles & Responsibilities:Serve as a technical leader supporting feature teams by clarifying scope, priorities, and delivery expectationsFacilitate feature kickoff and planning sessions, assigning work across development teams as appropriateDefine features and acceptance criteria, develop effort estimates, and document assumptions, risks, and dependenciesCollaborate with engineering teams to elevate development practices, code quality, and cross-team communicationPartner with platform and shared services teams as needed to align on architecture and integration effortTroubleshoot and resolve issues in non-production environments, coordinating with multiple teams to drive resolutionAct as a release leader, supporting deployment activities and ensuring production readinessContribute to the continuous improvement of Agile delivery processes and technical standardsRequired Skills & Experience:6+ years of progressive professional software development experience4+ years of experience providing technical leadership, including setting architectural direction and mentoring engineersStrong hands-on experience with modern Microsoft-based technology stacks, including .NET (Framework and Core), C#, JavaScript, and relational databases1+ years of React experience (ideally) - open to considering strong Angular experience if not skilled with ReactExperience working with microservices-based architectures and distributed systemsSolid background in analysis, system design, and full lifecycle application developmentDemonstrated experience with process modeling, data modeling, performance optimization, and application monitoringStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levelsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceAbout VersiqueVersique: /ver-seek/ adj. being both versatile and unique; n. a high-performance recruiting firm specializing in executive leadership search, direct hire, and interim hiring solutions.
