Case Aide
Phoenix Service Corporation has a full-time Case Aide position available. No evenings, weekends or holidays! Starting wage is $18.00/hour, based on experience.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Case Aide is responsible for providing assistance to the Community Support departments in the coordination of services for vulnerable individuals.
Primary duties include:
Database Management: Create new files, placing paperwork in applicable folders, and maintenance of database information.
Client contact: Mail correspondences or provide other directed support to the assigned Case Manager.
Mail Distribution: Distribute mail items, scanning, emailing and saving in database.
Transitional Services: Provide support services including obtaining household and/or furniture items and scheduling moving services.
Performs clerical functions as assigned.
The Case Aide must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, outside agencies and coworkers. They must maintain and foster cordial relationships and optimal communication and displays positive, supportive and cooperative conduct. They must be able to communicate effectively both verbally as well as in writing; listening accurately and responsively. They must be able to work independently without direction or supervision immediately available.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Two (2) plus years experience working with persons with disabilities preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Telephone and computer skills
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to see and hear adequately to respond to emergency situations
Ability to travel to meet with clients and attend meetings, holds a valid driver license and maintains a safe driving record
Ability to sit, stand, reach, and bend
