Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities - Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment - Assemble instrument trays for surgical procedures - Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality - Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities - Monitor and track inventory levels of sterile supplies - Follow established protocols for infection control and aseptic techniques Skills - Proficiency in medical terminology - Strong inventory management skills - Knowledge of sterile processing procedures - Understanding of human anatomy and physiology - Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,500.00 per week Schedule: 5x8 8 hour shift Day shift Experience: SPT: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) SPT (Preferred) Work Location: In person
