MITS Technical Resource Manager
Overview
In this role you guide and oversee MITS Technical Resources across a defined US region, coordinating with engineering, sales, and branch teams. You lead project delivery, escalation, and mentoring, with a focus on ransomware incident response, SoWs, and client-facing support. You act as a trusted IT advisor for customers while aligning regional efforts with national engineering direction. The position offers cross-branch collaboration, regional project leadership, and opportunities to shape security and network modernization for multiple clients.

ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance, direction, and oversight of regional subordinatesServe as conduit between Engineering, Sales, and branch managementInterview and onboard engineers within the regionLead ransomware incident response as Team Lead and Project ManagerManage projects assigned by the National Director of EngineeringMonitor engineer time to optimize billable work and utilizationEscalate issues and coordinate with other branches and national resourcesMentor branch engineers and set goalsProvide updates to the National Director of Engineering on region performanceAct as escalation point for technical, policy, or branch issuesDraft complex project Statements of Work (SoWs) when neededServe as Engineer in branches lacking technical staffCoordinate large and complex client projectsBudget, forecast, and report on client projectsCollaborate with 3rd party vendors for complete solutions and migrationsDemonstrate strong organization, time management, and prioritizationPerform other duties or special projectsTravel up to 50% (including onsite visits) and maintain reliable transportation
Key requirementsMinimum 5 years of hands-on management experience with a team of 5+ technical resourcesExperience managing groups across multiple statesAbility to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication across all organizational levelsProject management experience is a plusUndergraduate or graduate degree in IT, CS, or related field a plusMinimum 8 years of hands-on technical experience with multi-server and complex network environmentsHands-on virtualization (Hyper-V and/or VMware) and Azure experience a plusExperience deploying and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, access points)/MS Azure and M365 certification and firewall certifications (SonicWall, Meraki, WatchGuard) or willingness to obtainCybersecurity certifications or willingness to obtainMSP/MSP experience a plusBDR experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects for multiple clientsSelf-motivated, able to work independently or in teamsValid driver's license and own reliable transportationstrong communicationmentoring and coachingleadershipHyper-V and/or VMware virtualizationMicrosoft AzureOffice 365 technologies
