Embedded Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco Bay Area | On-site

Salary: Up to $300k base + EquityWe're partnering with a well-funded, high-growth robotics company developing next-generation autonomous systems for complex, real-world environments. They're entering an exciting phase of expansion, the company is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help shape its core technology from the ground up.

Responsibilities: Design and develop embedded C/C++ software for advanced robotic platforms. Build real-time software architectures and integrate hardware control systems. Develop fault handling, diagnostics and reliable communication between embedded components. Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to take new technology from development into deployment.

Requirements: Strong commercial experience developing embedded software in C/C++.Experience with RTOS, CAN and low-level hardware interfaces. Background in robotics, automotive, industrial automation or other complex electromechanical systems. Understanding of functional safety, real-time performance and hardware debugging.
