Dishwasher/Food Prep

Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen staff. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service. Manage waste disposal properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed to promote an eco-friendly environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for food service operations. Follow all food handling guidelines and safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued! Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
