Electrical Engineer12+ Months with open for extensionMossville, ILRate-38/hourTeam: This team is part of the Drivetrain group that helps support lab testing of electric drive components and systems to check performance and durability testing. They work with motors, generators etc. This person will work with engineers to learn role and that individual will continue to mentor and oversee inspection activities. Lab testing environment, typically spend 30% at desk, 70% in lab conducting inspections or electrical checks. Candidates will need to have steel toe boots but they can be reimbursed from Caterpillar after starting up.They will be conducting detailed inspections and root cause investigation into motor and generator failures. Inspections involve hands on work consisting of electrical checks, visual inspections, x-ray review, material and fluid analysis. No designing in this position.
