OPWDD Contract Investigator

Community Based Services is seeking a Contract Investigator to conduct internal investigations for reportable incidents as required per OPWDD 624 Regulations. Candidate must possess the following: A current Justice Center Investigator Certificate. Associates/bachelor’s degree in human services, Criminal Justice, or related field- will consider experience lieu of degree. A minimum of 5 - years’ experience working in the field of Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities. Experience/knowledge working with OPWDD and the NYS Justice Center, and familiar with OPWDD 624 Regulations. Possess excellent written, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to problem solve, work independently and a flexible schedule. Position would take place in the Westchester County area. Must be detailed oriented, have computer skills, and possess excellent organizational skills Experienced in investigative techniques is desired.
