IT SYSTEMS ANALYST Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Contract TO HIRE Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, OnsiteJob Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated IT Systems, Database Development and Support Analyst to join our IT Commercial Gas Systems Team. This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and hold a 4-year degree from an accredited institution. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and technical support to Natural Gas Accounting users, while participating in SOX change management activities and ensuring overall service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, and support Gas System Application modules (TIPS Accounting, BOBJ reporting, Oracle Database Objects, Data Archiving, Interfaces).Design, develop, enhance, and support PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Indexes.Participate in project design, development, testing, and implementation with IT and Business users.Provide support for IT and User testing, including deployment of Vendor Builds and Patches.Work directly with end users and business analysts to understand and implement new or changing business requirements.Maintain ownership for specific system functions and facilitate communication between business and IT teams.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or CIS/MIS from an accredited institution.5+ years of experience in database development and analysis (SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL).Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Highly self-motivated team player with a commitment to quality and customer service.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong database development skills required.Additional Information:This is a contract position with potential to become permanent.Mid-level role (Max: 10 years of experience).Participates in SOX change management activities.
