Payroll Specialist - Centennial, CO (Hybrid, in-office)Salary: $65000 - $70000 / Year, based on experienceBenefits: Health, dental, vision, and 401K eligibleSummary:The Payroll Specialist will manage full-cycle payroll processing for a growing construction company, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role is responsible for payroll tax filings and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong emphasis on maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll, a solid understanding of construction-related pay practices, and the ability to navigate complex payroll scenarios with precision. This position partners closely with HR and Accounting to support seamless payroll operations and provide responsive support to employees.Responsibilities:Support full-cycle payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established proceduresAccurately calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, including benefits and garnishmentsReview and validate employee timekeeping data, attendance records, and leave balancesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations, with a strong focus on payroll tax withholdings, filings, and reporting requirementsPrepare and file payroll tax reports, including quarterly and annual filings, W-2s, 1099s, and other required documentationResearch, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies, including tax-related issues, and respond to employee inquiriesMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standardsCollaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate data flow and alignment across payroll, benefits, and financial systemsMonitor changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, proactively recommending updates to processes as neededAssist with internal and external audits, including preparation of payroll and tax-related documentationSupport year-end payroll activities, including reconciliation, reporting, and tax form distributionSystems: Paycom, NetSuite, Microsoft ExcelRequirements:2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing, including payroll tax set-up for multiple states and jurisdictionsAssociates degree in Accounting, Human Resources or related highly preferredAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
