Supply Chain ManagerLocation: Auburn, INIndustry: Manufacturing / Industrial OperationsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a strategic, hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead all supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will oversee end-to-end supply chain functions, including inventory, logistics, materials management, planning, continuous improvement, and operational optimization across the plant.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, operational discipline, and a continuous-improvement mindset, while partnering cross-functionally with operations, production, engineering, procurement, and corporate leadership to drive performance, efficiency, and cost optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Leadership & StrategyLead all plant-level supply chain operations and processes, ensuring alignment with overall business and operational objectivesDevelop and execute plant supply chain strategies that support operational goals, customer expectations, and corporate initiativesEstablish and maintain supply chain standards, procedures, and best practices across the facilityServe as the primary supply chain leader for the plant, partnering with internal stakeholders and external suppliersOperational Excellence & Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, material flow, logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and operational reliabilityLead cross-functional projects to improve supply chain performance, throughput, and service levelsUtilize Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and CBS methodologies to streamline operations and improve plant performanceMonitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure performance targets are achievedPlanning, Budgeting & OptimizationContribute to strategic and operational planning activities, including inventory management, capacity planning, labor forecasting, and supply chain budgetingAnalyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesLead supply chain-related capital investments and equipment planning, including material handling and warehouse equipmentCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with operations, engineering, procurement, quality, and leadership teams to support production and customer requirementsInterface with business unit and corporate supply chain teams to align plant requirements, reporting, and operational prioritiesParticipate in and lead supply chain-related projects and plant initiativesLeadership & ComplianceLead, coach, and develop supply chain team members through performance management, employee development, and ongoing trainingDrive change management initiatives within the supply chain organizationEnsure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and environmental health & safety standardsPromote a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and operational excellenceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum of 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, materials, or manufacturing operations experienceCandidates without a degree may be considered with 10+ years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, logistics, and production planningLegal authorization to work in the United States is required
