Equipment Operator

Overview Con-Struct Inc. seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join our heavy highway and construction team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating a variety of construction and industrial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient project completion. This role offers the opportunity to work for a established company on diverse projects utilizing heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and skid loaders. Candidates with operating experience and mechanical knowledge are highly preferred. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and skid loaders to perform various construction tasks Drive and operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for material transport Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement across construction sites Follow safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members to maintain a secure work environment Complete documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance logs Skills Proven experience with heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and skid loaders Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Construction site experience is highly desirable Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is a plus Knowledge of farm machinery or tanker operations is advantageous Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adhere to project timelines This position is essential for supporting our construction projects with reliable operation of heavy machinery. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
