You will exercise independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying established design methods and procedures to support project objectives, working under the moderate supervision of a licensed interior designer.Your RoleResponsible for AutoCAD and Revit support for the preparation of project documentsResponsible for the production of graphics through use of 3D renderings and computer illustrationsResponsible for the creation of finish plans, specifications, and material selectionsResponsible for submittals during the construction administration phaseAssist in the development and preparation of space planning concepts and creation of program documentsAssist the Design lead in meetings with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectivesCommunicate with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and Ware Malcomb employeesCollaborate with team in developing design solutions that meet the client's needs on time and budgetCreate graphic formatting and mood boards for client presentationsParticipate in presentations that communicate design concepts to the clientWork to master the development, continuity and detailing of design conceptsDevelop high-quality drawing and documentation sets that are clear, comprehensive and consistentPerform basic coordination with MEP systemsQualifications3+ years of experience in the field of Architectureor Interior DesignBachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior DesignAbility to navigate and interpret Revit models and project documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to create complete presentation packages under the direction of your supervisorAbility to effectively present information alongside your design teamStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customersAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documentsAbility to work independently to solve problems involving multiple optionsBasic knowledge of financial terms and principlesUnderstanding and application of design principles, theories, color and materialsKnowledge of building codeSoftware SkillsIntermediate graphic and presentation skills in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUpProficiency in Revit / BIM 360Proficiency in Vantagepoint (preferred)Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and OutlookProficiency in NewformaProficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural DesktopProficiency in of Adobe Suite and SketchUp graphic software$75,000 - $85,000 a year.
