This role combines strategic collaboration with hands-on HR administration, helping drive service excellence, employee engagement, and continuous improvement across the organization.You will play a vital role in ensuring employees receive timely support, accurate information, and a best-in-class HR experience while contributing to the ongoing success of the ISS People & Culture team.Success CriteriaDeliver exceptional employee support with professionalism and empathyMaintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR processesBuild strong partnerships across departments and HR teamsEnsure timely resolution of employee inquiries and case management requestsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing practicesDemonstrate accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to professional growthKey ResponsibilitiesEmployee Support & HR OperationsServe as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and HR support requestsManage and resolve HR tickets in accordance with SLA and escalation protocolsMaintain accurate documentation throughout the case management processSupport unemployment claims, I-9/E-Verify processes, leave of absence inquiries, and policy guidanceAssist employees with HR systems navigation and troubleshootingHR Administration & ReportingGenerate and maintain service desk reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metricsSupport HR audits, records management, e-filing, and compliance initiativesProcess HR-related documentation, mail distribution, and administrative requestsMaintain confidentiality of employee and organizational data at all timesCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementPartner closely with the People & Culture Business Partner and broader ISS HR teamDevelop HR white papers, FAQs, and knowledge-base materialsShare best practices and contribute to process improvements across the organizationSupport HR projects, system updates, and operational initiativesYour Qualifications3–5+ years of Human Resources experienceExperience in employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and employee counselingHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field preferredBilingual communication skills (Spanish preferred)Strong written, verbal, virtual, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with service desk systems, records management, and e-filingFamiliarity with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors, JDE, UltiPro, and JIRA preferredUnion experience and HR certifications are a plusWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPrimarily office and desk-based work environmentProlonged computer and administrative work requiredAbility to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionallyWhy ISS?At ISS, our vision is to become the world's greatest service organization — and that starts with our people.
