Wood Production Associate

Job Summary: The Wood Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing high-quality wood products using a variety of equipment, including chop saws, band saws, CNC routers, wood turning lathes, end formers, sanders, and gang rip saws. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and apply basic shop math.Position Requirements & Responsibilities: (These requirements are in addition to any and all Viewrail employment requirements and policies.)Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints and routings to produce parts within required tolerancesRepair damaged or defective wood productsPerform final quality inspections on finished parts, including post-sandingMaintain simple tracking reports for product repairsKeep tools cleaned, changed, and in proper working orderKeep production parts labeled and organized in the work areaOperate all machine and hand tools safely and effectivelySupport team goals by completing related tasks as neededPerform other duties as assigned Required Skills: Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing (for 8 to 10 hour shifts) and bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and diagramsSufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment properlyBasic shop math skills and ability to read a tape measureStrong written and verbal communication skillsAvailability to work overtime and weekends as needed Desired Skills:Basic computer skillsFamiliarity with sanding and wood routing machines and toolsCreative thinking and problem-solving abilityEagerness to learn and grow within the role Benefits Medical InsurancePPO and HDHP optionsDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401K Retirement Savings Planwith company match of up to 4%Paid Time OffBonus Eligibility
