Project Controls Analyst

Job Title: Project Management Analyst 3  Company: System One Location: Remote (U.S.)  Position Type: Contract Assignment (40 hours/week) Duration: Through end of 2026 with potential extension into 2027Position OverviewSystem One is seeking a Project Management Analyst 3 to support project controls, time collection processes, and data integrity across complex engineering and project environments. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate time tracking, project cost alignment, and supporting continuous improvement of project management systems and tools.The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems, and a background in project controls, accounting, or project management operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTimekeeping & Data ManagementSupport and troubleshoot time entry processes for employees and managersProcess timecard data and ensure accurate transfer to ERP systemsValidate payroll interfaces and ensure successful data integrationTrack and resolve timecard discrepancies and incomplete submissionsReporting & ReconciliationPerform audits and reconciliations of timesheet and payroll dataIdentify discrepancies and communicate with project accounting, billing, and payroll teamsGenerate reports and support automated data validation processesProject Controls SupportAssist with project cost tracking and billing data accuracySupport resource assignments and project setup activities (including Primavera P6 inputs)Contribute to Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis supportProcess ImprovementDevelop and improve workflows to reduce errors and streamline processesSupport enhancements to project management tools and digital systemsManage request queues and support timecard correction processesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in project controls, accounting, or project-related operationsStrong knowledge of: Timekeeping systems and ERP platformsAccounting principles and data accuracyMicrosoft Office (Excel required)Experience with ERP systems such as: Microsoft DynamicsOracle (OTL, PPM) or similarStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting project controls in engineering or energy environmentsFamiliarity with: Primavera P6Earned Value Management (EVM)SQL and Power BI reportingExperience working in regulated environments (DOE, nuclear, etc.)Additional RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Ability to support DOE-related work (10 CFR Part 810 eligibility)Strong communication and collaboration skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
